1. Fund That’s role
Fund That helps business applicants explore commercial financing and may assist with preparing or transmitting a financing request to independent financing providers. Unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise, Fund That is not the lender, lessor, or credit provider making the credit decision.
Any approval, decline, rate, fee, term, security requirement, guaranty requirement, or funding decision is made by the applicable financing provider.
2. No approval or funding guarantee
Submitting an application, discussing potential options, or being introduced to a financing provider does not guarantee approval, funding, timing, a particular amount, or any particular pricing or terms.
3. Financing availability
Financing products, participating providers, eligibility standards, and underwriting criteria vary by applicant, business, transaction, state, and provider. Website information is general and is not a financing commitment or offer.
4. Fund That fees
If Fund That charges an applicant or business a fee in connection with a U.S. transaction, the applicable fee and payment terms will be separately disclosed and documented before the fee becomes due, subject to applicable law and state-specific requirements.
Fund That may also receive compensation from a financing provider where permitted and appropriately disclosed.
5. Application information
You must be authorized to submit information for the business identified in the application. You agree to provide information that is true, complete, and accurate to the best of your knowledge and to correct material errors or changes.
Fund That and participating providers may request additional documentation before a financing request can be evaluated or completed.
6. Consumer-report and business-credit authorization
The U.S. application includes a separate written authorization for obtaining consumer reports about an individual owner, guarantor, or other authorized person where such a report is used in connection with the business financing request. Business credit information may also be obtained and evaluated.
A credit authorization is tied to the financing request and does not authorize unrelated uses of a consumer report.
7. Application communications
Applicants may authorize Fund That and financing providers reviewing the request to communicate by telephone, text message, and email about the application. Application communications are separate from marketing consent. Marketing email or SMS consent, if offered, is optional.
8. Credit decisions and notices
Independent financing providers are responsible for their credit decisions. Where applicable law requires a notice of action taken, reasons for adverse action, or other credit notice, the responsible provider or another permitted party must provide the notice in the manner required for the transaction.
9. Third-party services and financing providers
Fund That may use or link to independent financing providers and technology providers. Those parties operate under their own underwriting criteria, terms, privacy practices, security practices, and legal obligations. Fund That does not control or guarantee their decisions or services.
10. Privacy
Our collection, use, and disclosure of information for U.S. financing requests are described in the U.S. Privacy Notice and in the specific authorizations presented with the application.
11. State-specific requirements
Commercial-financing, brokering, disclosure, registration, licensing, fee, and privacy requirements may vary by state. Fund That may limit services or financing-provider availability in a state until the applicable requirements for that activity are satisfied.
Any state-specific disclosures or transaction terms required for a particular financing product or applicant will control over general website information where they conflict.
